Watchmaking employs a lot of skills, both mental and physical, that most people won't naturally develop. Where can you train, how much will it cost, what do you need and how long will it take?

The fact is there are two main paths to become a watchmaker, either to start an apprenticeship or enroll yourself in a watchmaking school. This is not to say that you don't need independent learning. It is absolutely important to familiarize yourself with the knowledge of watchmaking.
