TAG Heuer's watchmaking workshop is in Chevenez, Switzerland, and their factory is in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Therefore, TAG Heuer watches are Swiss-Made watches and have the words Swiss Made written somewhere on the watch (usually on the dial or on the case back or both).

Launched in 2016, it is our house's signature movement: developed entirely in-house and produced at our movements manufacturer in Chevenez. The key element of the Heuer 02 is its chronograph, the beating heart of TAG Heuer watchmaking, designed to measure performance and sports records.

Heuer introduced its first wrist chronograph in 1914. The crown was at the 12 o'clock position, as these first wrist chronographs were adapted from pocket chronographs. In 1916 Edward Heuer's son, Charles-Auguste, introduced the "Mikrograph", the first stopwatch accurate to 1/100 of a second.
